Bishop Creek Community Church

January 6, 2012 marks four years since the first sermon Kelly preached at Bishop Creek Community Church in Bishop, CA.  There were 29 people in church that day (including kids).  Now we are averaging 50-70.  It is exciting to see how the Lord has grown our body, and given us a good reputation in the community!

We are excited about the things God is doing in and through our church!  There is a hunger for the Word of God.  There is a desire for deep Biblical teaching.  There is a focus on keeping our head and our heart connected.
The men meet monthly for a Men’s Breakfast.  Each week they have Bible Study that is Sermon Application.  They are focusing on living out what they are learning.

Our women have morning and evening Bible Study groups.  Many from the community participate.  The women read the Bible in 90 Days  in the summer of 2010 (and others from the church joined the women in doing so again in the sumer of 2011)!   In January the women will begin “Reading God’s Story” (the HCSB chronological Bible which they’ll read in a year) and will also begin a Beth Moore Bible Study on the book of James - Mercy Triumphs.
Last month we launched a new website.  A church friend in Australia created it for us, and is teaching Suzanne how to add to it.  Check it out! www.BishopCreek.org.  You can listen to Kelly’s sermons and read his weekly articles (plus lots more)!  We are also on Facebook... https://www.facebook.com/BishopCreekCommunityChurch  We’d love for you to “Like” us!

Please keep our church in your prayers... prayers for direction, finances, wisdom regarding location (we need more room and would like to be able to meet in the morning - we meet at 4pm because we don’t have our own building), and of course to have an impact on the community!
Are you looking for a ministry to support?  We invite you to join us as prayer partners (and/or financially) as we participate in the work the Lord is doing here in Bishop!
